Ambassador Manizha Bakhtari Attended the Inauguration Ceremony of the Afghan – Finland Academy
On 6 March 2015, H.E. Manizha Bakhtari Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland together with Leena Viljanen, Political Director of South Asian countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and Dr. Pauli Järvenpää, Finland’s former Ambassador in Afghanistan, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Afghan – Finland Academy in Helsinki.
Afghan - Finland Academy is a collaborating effort of Afghan residents in Finland with Finnish Institutes and Agencies to promote education, research, culture, art and sport activities between Afghanistan and Finland.
In the future the Afghan – Finland Academy is focusing to promote the cultural, art, social, health and sport activities in order to improve communication, cooperation and friendship between the government and people of Finland and Afghanistan.
The other objective of the Afghan – Finland Academy is to train and advice the Afghans who voluntarily want to return to Afghanistan.
Ambassador Manizha Bakhtari inaugurated the academy as a key speaker. In Her Speech she thanked the members of the Afghanistan - Finland Academy for such a brilliant initiative and wished them best of luck for their well desire purposes.
Ambassador Bakhtari, underlined that the Republic of Finland support the government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in different fields such as good governance, improving democracy, rule of law, development of provincial governance and promoting human rights specially women and girls education.
Ambassador Manizha Bakhtari emphasized that Republic of Finland has always been generous to Afghanistan’s reconstruction efforts and we count the Republic of Finland as a close ally of Afghanistan.
