Hope in Despair – a Photo Exhibition on Life in Afghanistan tells the stories from Afghanistan about conflict, despair, and revived hope with a focus on education, gender, poverty and peace-building. Mr. Azab’s exhibition tells the stories from Afghanistan about conflict, despair, and revived hope with a focus on education, gender, poverty and peace-building. The photo exhibition explores how Afghans have lived their world in hope and have kept following the path of hope and optimism. Afghans have found hope in despair – waking up every day in a country where they are not sure of their life for a second, a life that could end in any second by a rocket hitting their house, a suicide bomber exploding on the road, a military airstrike mistakenly targeting civilians, or killed due to persecution.

For those who missed the exhibition today, the photo exhibition will continue today and tomorrow in OsloMet University (HIOA).
