President Ghani Congratulates Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on Denmark’s National Day.
In a letter addressed to Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani conveyed felicitations and congratulations to the Danish people and government on the occasion of Denmark’s National Day (Constitution Day).
Highlighting the longstanding friendly and cordial relations between Afghanistan and Denmark, President Ghani stated that Denmark, as a close friend and partner country, has always stood beside Afghanistan in solidarity and support for efforts to achieve a peaceful, stable and prosperous Afghanistan.
President Ghani expressed satisfaction and pleasure at the close cooperation and relations that exist between Afghanistan and Denmark, which are based on shared goals and objectives and highlighted the importance of continued partnership in the way forward.
He also expressed his best wishes for the good-health and prosperity of the people of Denmark as they celebrate their National Day.
The 5th of June is celebrated each year as Constitution Day in Denmark, commemorating the signing of Denmark’s Constitution.
