Afghans in Sweden

Per 2007 there were 6,904 Afghans in Sweden, including 5,810 recognized refugees and 594 asylum seekers who arrived recently and 500 whose cases have been rejected. According to Statistics Sweden there were in 2008, 603 Afghan immigrants living in Sweden.
