Ambassador Ludin expresses condolances over death of three Danish soldiers

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Oslo, Mr Jawed Ludin, expressed condolences over the death of three Danish soldiers in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan on Friday, December 19th.
“I was deeply saddened when I learnt about the terrorist incident in Helmand which claimed the lives of three Danish soldiers and injured one while serving to bring security and peace for the people of Afghanistan,” said Mr. Ludin in reaction to the news, and added:
“I condemn this terrorist act in the strongest possible terms. My thoughts and sympathies are with the families and friends of those who lost their lives and I pray for the speedy recovery of the wounded.”
"On behalf of President Hamid Karzai and the people of Afghanistan, I thank the people of Denmark for their generous support to Afghanistan and for their commitment to the cause of peace and development in the world."
The Kingdom of Denmark currently has 700 troops in Afghanistan most of them serving in Helmand Province alongside the British soldiers to bring stability for civilians and create a safe environment for rehabilitation and progress.
